This Privacy Policy describes how Reliom (“Reliom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit reliom.com, use our customer relationship platform, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, and role.
  • Customer data: contact records, messages, appointments, notes, and files that you or your team import into Reliom.
  • Communication data: SMS, email, social channel messages, voice calls, and web chat routed through the platform.
  • Usage data: log data, device information, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Services.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider; Reliom does not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To send appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other communications you configure.
  • To provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us deliver the Services (hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics, payment processing) under written agreements.
  • Integrations you choose to enable (calendar, EHR/PMS, social channels, etc.).
  • Legal authorities where required by valid legal process.
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Protected Health Information (PHI)

For customers in healthcare industries, Reliom offers HIPAA-conscious workflows and will enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) upon request. When a BAA is in place, we handle PHI in accordance with HIPAA and the BAA. See our HIPAA Notice for additional detail.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and customer data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services or comply with legal obligations. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@reliom.com.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International Users

Reliom is operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of information in the U.S.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
